Transporter, designed for active time-resolved imaging, is world’s first SPAD image sensor with an on-chip encoder for SNN processing.
The principle of Transporter was first presented and published in WACV 2024, together with the idea of Reversed Start-stop SNN. Then I designed a proof-of-concept SPAD image sensor based on this principle, which is presented in International Image Sensor Workship (IISW) 2025. The test of the sensor is still undergoing.
I modifed the code of gdsfactory to create 3D models of the chip from GDSII file. Then the models are rendered in Blender.
